Mr. Leschak received his degree from Hofstra University School of Law, where he graduated cum laude and received the "Citation of Excellence" in labor and employment law. He is a member of the New York and New Jersey State Bars, as well as bar of the New Jersey Federal District Court, the New York Federal District Court for the Southern District, and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Leschak began his legal career at the esteemed Labor and Employment Law firm of Weissman and Mintz. For many years he also served on the board of directors of Casa Freehold, an immigrant rights organization based in N.J. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Latino Coalition of Monmouth County, as well as the state-wide Latino Action Network.
Mr. Leschak has extensive experience in the areas of immigrants' rights and asylum. In addition to his knowledge of all aspects of the immigration law of the United States, his experience in labor law makes him especially qualified to advise clients in matters where immigration and employment intersect.
Mr. Leschak is a member of the State Bar Association of New Jersey, New York State Bar Association, American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the National Immigration Project of the National Lawyers Guild, New Jersey Advocates for immigrant detainees and Monmouth County Coalition for Immigrant Rights. He is an alumnus of The College of New Jersey where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Justice Studies.
In his free time, Mr. Leschak and his wife enjoy traveling, soccer, salsa dancing and walking their dog Cody.
