Ms. Ovalles received her law degree from Rutgers School of Law – Newark, where she was the Notes and Comments Editor for The Race, and the Law Review. She was an Equal Justice America Fellowship recipient. In addition she was the Vice President of the Association of Latin American Law Students and was a student teacher for the Street Law Program. She also worked with the Immigration Rights Clinic.
She is an alumnus of Rutgers University, and graduated cum laude. She was a member of the Delta Epsilon Iota Academic Honor Society.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ovalles served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable James F. Hyland, Family Division, Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex Vicinage. She is admitted to the New Jersey and New York Bar.
